Personal learning & thinking skills

Six groups of skills, together with the functional skills of English, mathematics and ICT, are essential to success in learning, life and work. The skills are generic and are applicable across all learning throughout the 11-19 age range. They are equally important to all learners, irrespective of the setting, and support young people's employability.
