Recognition Scheme

The Recognition Scheme launched on 25 September. Find out more about:
What is the recognition scheme?
- It is recognition, in the form of a certificate and logo, that the receiving organisation is supporting the Diploma in C&BE.
- Recognition is given by the consortium that the organisation has been supporting.
- The Recognition Scheme is open to all employers who have supported work related learning in the Diploma in C&BE.
- Supporting organisations are likely to be employers, in the first instance, that are providing work related learning. However, organisations such as universities can also receive recognition if they are promoting the Diploma in C&BE as an entry route.
The scheme benefits
- Provides evidence for consortia and organisations that they are successfully working together.
- Raises awareness of the Diploma in C&BE.
- Nationally recognised, public and tangible demonstration of an organisation’s commitment to education, training and workforce development.
- Supports recruitment and raises interest in education and future employment.
- Employers and other supporting organisations will be able to display the certificate in their premises and the logo on letterheads, invoices, vehicle sides, etc.
- Employers and other supporting organisations will be able to use and refer to the recognition on their websites and in company publications and documents.
- Employers and other supporting organisations can use the Recognition Scheme to help get positive PR on a local and national basis.
- The Recognition Scheme will be promoted on this website
How does it work?
The scheme is designed for consortia to use to recognise organisations that are supportive of them. In order to support the smooth operations of the Recognition Scheme the Diploma Development Partnership (DDP) will provide consortia with a pack containing the following:- certificate stock
- logos and stickers to provide to supporting organisations
- a letter template to send to organisations with the certificate and logos
- a press release template to recognise recipients locally
