Recognition Scheme

Find out more about:
What is the Recognition Scheme for the Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment (C&BE)?
- It is recognition, in the form of a certificate and logo, that you are supporting the Diploma in C&BE
- Recognition is given to you by the consortium of schools and colleges you support
- The Recognition Scheme is open to all employers who have supported work related learning in the Diploma in C&BE
- Supporting organisations are likely to be employers, in the first instance, that are providing work related learning. However, organisations such as universities can also receive recognition if they are promoting the Diploma in C&BE as an entry route
How can you join the recognition scheme?
By actively supporting and encouraging the consortium you are engaged with in work related learning. For example, supplying a local school or college with resources and materials, actively promoting the Diploma in C&BE as an entry route to Degree courses, enabling young people to visit your workplace to see how the industry works in their locality, suggesting real problems for young people to tackle as the project element of their Diploma and providing quality work experience. By encouraging your workforce to become involved with their local consortium so that they understand the needs of young learners taking the Diploma in C&BE.
Visit the Diploma Providers section of the website to contact the consortium of schools and colleges in your area.
