How to sign up

For young people in your area to get the most from their Diploma studies they are relying on the support of local employers to provide them with the insight into the construction and built environment industry.
Employers supporting the Diploma will work in partnership with local schools and colleges to bring the classroom learning to life.
You can give your support in a variety of different ways:
Controlled Site Visits
You may be able to give a group of young people controlled access to parts of your business so they can experience the built environment in practice.
Work experience for young people
You may be prepared to offer up to 10 days work experience for a young person or persons to give them a real life experience of work within your business.
Work experience for teachers
Teachers are committed to delivering the Diploma to the highest standard and offering placements to teachers will help to ensure that they have a good understanding of the construction and built environment to be able to pass this on to young people
Visits to schools or college
Support can also take the form of visits to schools or colleges to explain how the theory works outside of the classroom
Provision of materials
Schools and colleges may need access to materials to help bring classroom learning to life. Your waste materials could be put to good use in the classroom
