Support for engaged employers

The level of success achieved by the Diploma will be directly affected by the level of involvement employers have in its delivery. Employer involvement will mean that students get real insight into the construction and the built environment sector and that at the end of their studies the learning they have gained is valuable and meets employers needs.
If you sign up to support your local consortia of schools and colleges with Diploma delivery they will work in partnership with you to ensure that from both sides – the work involved is manageable – whether you are offering site visits, talks in schools or offering to help brief teachers.
Read our guide 'Working with Schools and Colleges' to find out more.
In addition to this, your Sector Skills Council will also be able to offer you additional help. Select the Sector Skills Council which covers your industry to find our more information
